A Nice Long Weekend...

Here is our new wall color and new drapes. We're happy with it. We changed the seating to make a better conversation circle. Our next projects are...new fireplace mantle, paint front door, new banister and finish entertainment center.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a very nice time at Pete's cousins house in Los Gatos. His brothers and their families were there too. It is a brand new home. It is a Craftsman style architecture and beautifully decorated. I should have taken better photos.
The only problem was that you all weren't there.
Hope everyone had a good day. Hope dad is getting better too.

DIY Make over

We painted our living room this weekend. Benjamin Moore color called Shellbourn Buff.
I really like it. I am waiting for some curtains to arrive from Horchow. Our entertainment center is getting close. I am really looking forward to designing a new fireplace. If anyone sees any pretty ones - send me the picture.
FYI: We just had our first mouse in the house. The cats were afraid of it...so was Pete.

We had a good weekend. Yesterday I met Sandee at Santana Row. I bought a really cute purse.
I also came up with some ideas for christmas which i will send out to you all.
Today, Cabrillo College had a reception for the opening of the Student Art Show. Pete was 1 of 3 students asked to display their project for the month long show. It was a good turn out.
Bird alert...I now have 5 Pygmy Nuthatches that come to my feeder. They will let me get within 2 feet of them.

We saw the Michael Jackson movie this weekend. The music and dancing were great. It helped me remember the amazing talent her was. Very entertaining.
If anyone has a chance, give Gramma Artie a call. Mom isn't able to call her.
